Today was a strange day in weather happenings.  It seemed like conditions were changing every couple minutes.  It would snow for a few minutes and then the sun would come out for a few minutes.  That process repeated throughout the day.  The sky is filled with scattered stratus clouds that hide the sun and then let it shine every so often.  Wind speeds were very high today reaching gusts of over 30 MPH.  Currently it is well below the average temperature this year, hovering right around freezing.  For tonight there may be a few more scattered snow flurries, but it could also stay dry with temperatures dipping down into the teens.  Tomorrow we should see sun for the most part with temperatures not that much warmer.  The jet stream simply seems to be getting worse so we might be looking at chilly temperatures for the next week.
