There has to be some sort of storm coming soon because Eau Claire can't have this many nice days in a row.  Once again it was beautiful and mild in Eau Claire allowing for a good amount of snow to melt.  Scattered cloud coverage around the area consisting mostly of cirrus clouds.  We are currently sitting in an area of high pressure which means we should have good weather for the next 24 hours.  The rest of the country is experiencing much of the same weather with a possible storm forming over Colorado and Wyoming that could head this way in the next couple days.  Another not so spectacular day for weather happenings, but I'm sure most are starting to get spring fever and more of these days are welcomed.

Humidity: 54%

As I predicted yesterday, today was another beautiful mild day with some cloud coverage.  Currently it has become overcast with cumulus fractostratus clouds.  With very little wind coming from the north and the temperatures in the mid to high thirties today made for a very comfortable day.  The forecast for tomorrow looks like much of the same as well.  The clouds tell us that there is a possibility of precipitation tonight, but a stationary front over the Rockies should prevent that from turning into much more than a few flurries.  The jet stream should move an area of high pressure into our area sometime tomorrow which should make for some more favorable conditions such as what we had today.

Well at least its not snowing... After spending a week on the beaches of Panama City, Florida I have returned to the crisp air of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Weather conditions were not all that bad today with highs getting up into the mid thirties with a brisk wind coming from the north.  We are currently in the high upswing of a trough reaching down into Texas which means clear skies for the most part and fair weather conditions.  Right now we have scattered cloud coverage with many cumulus humilis clouds.  For tomorrow and in the coming days expect much of the same conditions with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures in the thirties.  Hopefully a few days like this will melt most of the snow so I can hit the links soon!

Current Conditions
Sunny
Temperature: 25 degrees F
Dew Point: 3 degrees F
Wind Speed: 12 MPH
Wind Direction: NW
Humidity: 31%

Beautiful sunny day for today's weather.  Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the day most likely topping off around the mid to low thirties.  Winds coming out of the northwest make it seem a little colder then 25 degrees, but the constant sun is counteracting that.  Cloud cover is minimal with a few high cirrus clouds.  Weather across the country is relatively the same with high pressure systems to our west and a stationary front still sitting over the Rocky Mountains.  Winds coming from the northwest will bring a patch of precipitation currently sitting over the middle of Canada our way tonight and there is a slim chance that we could see a few snow showers overnight.  After that possible snowfall tonight we should see more clear conditions for the rest of the week with temperatures continuing to rise.  Below are the current weather, wind, and water vapor maps.

It was a beautiful day in Eau Claire today! The sunny conditions and warm temperatures melted a lot of the snow and this will most likely continue until Saturday.  Currently we have a warm front heading in our direction followed by a series of low pressure systems.  This will most likely bring a rain and snow mix for the weekend.  There was minimal cloud cover all day and most clouds in the sky were high cirrus clouds.  Other than that there is really not a whole lot to report.  It was a boring day for weather happenings, but it was very enjoyable!

Hopefully the last snowfall of the winter season brought us a solid 5+ inches today.  This morning was rather cold and windy, but temperatures continued to rise throughout the day and wind speeds slowed somewhat also leaving us with a very comfortable current temperature of 26 degrees.  Current cloud cover is overcast with nimbostratus clouds.  The weather should start to clear up the rest of the week with very little weather activity to the west.  There is a small system over Nevada right now that might be carried our way by the jet stream, but if the storm does continue in our direction it won't be here for a few days.  Overall, we should be looking forward to clearer skies and warmer temperatures for most of the week.
