Weather Photos

This is a surface map from The Weather Channel where I labeled all of the different fronts and air masses present in the entire United States at that time.

This is a map of the different types of air masses for North America.  The labels depict where the air masses originated and what direction they typically travel in.

Sunset over the Chippewa River on May 6, 2013.  The photo shows a mixed sky with what appears to be cumulus humilis in the distance and cirrus or cirrostratus clouds as well.  The pink color in the sky foretells good weather in the next 24 hours.

This picture was taken on my buddies front porch in Duluth, MN in early April of 2013.  About an hour before this picture was taken there was snow falling with flakes about an inch in diameter.  Shortly after that sleet started to fall for a few hours.  This photo is just a handful of that sleet I picked up off of my friends front step.
