Current Conditions
Mostly Cloudy
Temperature: 20 degrees F
Dew Point: 9 degrees F
Wind Speed: 7 MPH
Wind Direction: ENE
Humidity: 56%

The warmer temperatures have arrived which can only mean one thing.  Winter Storm Q is heading our way quickly.  The storm is currently pounding most of the lower Midwest and is heading in our direction.  There is a low pressure system right over Texas right now with an occluded front directly north of it.  These two should push north in our direction bringing with it some snow fall for early tomorrow morning and most of the day.  Wind speeds should increase throughout tonight and stormy conditions should start around 3 AM tomorrow.  The second map below shows the water vapor in the atmosphere and there is a lot of it right now over Minnesota and most of Wisconsin.  Cross your fingers for heavy snowfall and class cancellations tomorrow so we can start our weekend early!
