Today was the first completely dry day in quite a while and the sun even popped out for a little bit this morning and evening.  Most of the day although was overcast with temperatures still well below normal for this time of year.  Believe it or not we may still get one more snow storm before we finally hit spring.  There is a huge pocket of low pressure stretching from north Texas all the way to Nevada that will most likely head in our direction in the next few days.  Directly west of us there is a line of precipitation hitting parts of southeastern Wisconsin and Michigan.  Tomorrow should actually be a nice day with temperatures in the high 40s and mostly sunny skies.  That won't last long though if this snow storm developing over the Rockies heads in our direction.

Waking up this morning and seeing snow on the ground again definitely wasn't what I wanted to see.  Winter storm Walda has finally moved in and it appears that the snow hasn't ended yet.  A snow storm is forming again over the Dakotas and will probably reach us again by later tonight.  There is also a major storm forming over Missouri right now that will bring severe thunderstorms to much of the lower Midwest and Southeast regions.  Another storm is also going to be hitting the Northeast with thunderstorms and a possibility of snow in the farther north regions.  Tomorrow should be about the same as today with a couple inches of snow accumulation and overcast skies.  Hopefully this is the last snow storm of this long winter season.

Over the course of today we have accumulated over a third of an inch of rain, and that is just the beginning of the inclement weather we are going to experience over the next two days.  There is already a winter storm warning that is going to take effect at 1 AM tomorrow morning and go through the entire day Wednesday and Thursday.  We are directly between two stationary fronts and winter storm Walda has reached the southwestern corner of Minnesota and is heading in our direction.  I do not predict that the storm will last all the way through Wednesday and Thursday, but we will see a decent amount of snowfall.  The snow may not stick on the ground, but it will add to the already rising level of the Chippewa River.

Today was a very gloomy and somewhat rainy day.  It was basically completely overcast all day with mild temperatures and decently high humidity.  There is a large pocket of low pressure that is heading in our direction that is likely to bring snow again, if not more rain for the rest of the week.  This storm that is forming has been given the name winter storm Walda.  Looks like for most of the rest of the week were in for temperatures in the 40s with overcast skies and a great chance for precipitation whether its rain or snow.

Spring is finally on its way it seems.  Today was a beautiful day with highs nearing 50 degrees and barely any cloud cover throughout the day.  Even though the temperatures feel warmer than normal we are sitting directly on a cold front currently.  There is a low pressure system over Wyoming right now and that will head our way in the next couple days likely bringing with it some gloomy weather with low clouds and a good chance for precipitation.  For most of the day tomorrow we should see temperatures in the mid to high 40s with clouds and precipitation possible later in the day.

Today was again much like yesterday.  Temperatures were below average for this time of year, but the sun was shining for most of the day.  Throughout the day there was scattered cloud coverage with most of it having dissipated by now.  The storm that was over the Rockies yesterday has moved south and we will most likely not see any precipitation here within the next 24 hours.  There is another storm forming over Colorado right now and that storm has the possibility to hit us later this week.  Tomorrow should be much of the same in terms of very little cloud coverage, but now that the cold front has passed we can expect to see some warmer temperatures for tomorrow.

It stayed cool as it was yesterday, but overall it was a beautiful sunny day!  We only reached a high of 30 degrees F today and the wind was somewhat breezy throughout the day.  There is a gigantic cold front that is currently stretched out from Washington to Maine and dipping as far south as Texas and Georgia.  We can expect temperatures to be on the cooler side for the next day or so, but it should remain clear and sunny.  Behind the cold front is a large pocket of low pressure stretching north to south across the entire Rockies.  If that moves in our direction we can expect some precipitation by later this week.
